Are you an art institution, a school, a university, or a staff member looking for an activity for the staff development day?

Then I am the person for you. Over the last few years (since 2021), I have been honoured to host over 150 bespoke creative workshops across the UK and internationally, working on team-building days such as at Young Minds and Da’aro Youth, during evening events at galleries such as Tate and V&A, and activations for fashion brands such as Lush and Converse. Additionally, my workshops have been well received by community groups, schools and Universities such as Queer Refugees at St. James Church, SOAS University and Central Saint Martins (University Arts London).

My background, alongside being an artist, is lecturing at Ravensbourne University. I hold a DBS check as well as a PG Certificate in Creative Education. Additionally, I hold an MA in Postcolonial Studies, shaping my understanding around topics of race, gender, and socio-political contexts within contemporary culture.

I genuinely love hosting workshops, I dive into your needs and mission, and outcomes can be zines, collages, illustrations, paintings and other creative tools you might have always wanted to explore!

You wonder how the workshops are designed?

With each client that approaches me, we discuss what the need of the workshop is: wheather that is strengthening community, Equity Diversity and Inequality unconscious bias training, a form of archiving opinions and feedback through creative means, or shaping a creative campaign. Topics range from climate action, to Black History, Queer History all the way to Design approaches for children, driven to accommodate an audience ranging from 2-99+, also allowing intergenerational settings.

Methodology: The design of the workshops often takes the method of a introduction and a creative warm-up, followed by a discussion around the selected theme of the session. A creative response, often through the medium of zine making, takes shape, rounded up with a discussion.

It’s a space to connect, create, and reflect together.

If this is something you or your organisation are interested in, please drop me a line, and we can start planning.

Warm wishes,
Fiona
